Each die-cut line contains all the technical information to assure that you make the right selection.
Perspective with main size ratios, complementary images and even a graphic that determines the values of production costs.
4. Download the die-cut lines.
After you make your selection, you can download the die-cut line in .DXF or .PDF format, compatible with your work system.
What do these files contain?
These files are prepared so that you can work directly with them.
The file includes:
A. The profile
B. A table of complementary technical data:
Type of materials to use (1),(2)
Face to die cut
Face to print
Area to glue (if necessary)
(1)In addition to listing the materials, the thickness is also listed, as all countries do not have the same standard board weight. Although strengths are calculated based on the indicated thicknesses, differences of some 5% will not have a notable effect on the quality of the die cut.
(2)When there is only a single material, the thickness will be given in mm, while if the material is the result of joining two or three boards, the thickness is given as the sum of the materials. For example, laminated board will be 0.55+0.55, which means that it is a laminated board with two 0.55 mm boards, resulting in one of 1.10 mm.
For corrugated board, either micro or channel 3, the resulting thickness is given.
In the event of double or triple-wall corrugated cardboard, the same method of adding up the thicknesses is employed, thus, a double-double wall will generally be indicated as follows: 3+5, which is the result of joining channel 3 and channel 5.
5. Personalise your POP.
You now have your die-cut profile ready to personalise to the specific needs of your project. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Freehand, CorelDRAW... vector formats are easily adapted to your work system, where you can even proportionally expand or reduce them
